Following the positive 2017 season, the Italian team has decided to participate in the Series Three Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO. Number 44 will be assigned to the PRO team consisting of Vito Postiglione (ITA) and Karol Basz (PL); number 53, committed to the Pro-AM, will see Massimo Mantovani (ITA) and Davide Venditti (ITA) taking turns at the wheel; while Hans Fabri (NL) will complete in the Lamborghini Cup with number 88.
21st – 22nd April, Monza (ITA): A pole position, a win, and a top performance capped off the weekend for Imperiale Racing, at the Autodromo Nazionale in Monza (ITA) for the first appointment with the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe 2018 of the season.
Race one ended with amazing results: Venditti showed his incredible character and determination, leading the Italian team across the finish line in ninth position, rising to second place on the Pro-AM podium. Race two allowed Imperiale Racing to celebrate its first win of the season.
19th – 20th May: Silverstone (UK): An extraordinary race win capped off the weekend for the Imperiale Racing team, who confirmed their place as the major players in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe 2018.
Race one was electric from the outset. With perfect strategy, Postiglione anticipated his stop in the pits, allowing Basz to get back on the track in second place. This extraordinary show of Imperiale Racing’s strength allowed the team to take its second consecutive win after Monza. Race two had Postiglione setting an optimum rhythm on the track, with a similarly positive fourth place and precious points for the championship classification.
